Another cool cafe racer conversion on a BMW boxer, looks just like it always should have.
This R90S was even in the sprint.
Love those 40mm Dellorto carburetors.
A beautiful original R75/5 'toaster tank' with husbands (?) Laverda SF750 in the parking.
Which was almost as interesting as the events area and always something new arriving.
You don't see many DKW Wankels on the road anymore, especially not in this fantastic original condition.
Couldn't be more different to a Honda CBX. The whole club was here, but this unusual orange CBX with spoked wheels, 6 into 6 pipes and chrome covers really caught the eye.
However this almost subtle cafe racered Benelli Sei 6 cylinder looked just how it should have been built in the first place.
They would surely have sold a lot more.
Who can resist a view like that ? or the sound !
Ducati Supersports and Superbikes are attractive subjects for the tuners and cafe builders, as the second hand prices are low enough for enthusiasts to pick up.
And the possibilities are enormous.
It's almost impossible to do it wrong.
But then again, good to keep a few to be future classics, like this Elite 'look a like' single or the Paul Smart replica behind.
Which Unique Cycle Works used also in the sprint race.
Impressively several tuning shops travelled from Italy and Spain to visit Glemseck and show what they can do on and off the track.
The South Garage Motorcycles stand had a great selection of cafes on show. From the high tech style,
to the more traditionally cafe styled bikes,
Plus a bit of fun hiding at the back of the stand.
These guys also know how to enjoy themselves, still partying into the night.
Some shops even brought their own shop with them, in great style if it's a Citroen HY van.
Cool T shirts and accessories from Krautmotors, but they took part in the sprint too!
An impressive Ducati Pantah conversion from JVB moto, looks very unusual but trendy.
More traditional are the Laverda spare parts on offer.
To keep all the SF750s on the road, like this one with a nice SFC conversion.
Otherwise there were Laverdas from all ages.
Including quite a few 1000 triples.
And 2 very very rare 500 Formulas, which I have never seen on the road before.
Speaking of Laverdas, it was a bit of a Laverda weekend thanks to Unique Cycle Works not only taking part in the sprint with this incredible SF750 cafe but also winning the best cafe racer contest with it too.
Here, the guys from Unique get their prizes and recognition on stage, before the rest of the evenings stage show got into full swing.
La Signora (the bike) kept in the place of honour on the stage for the rest of the evening.
