Motorrad Reisen Klassik Ducati Bimota Superbike Erlebnis Urlaub
A total of 3 Bimota DB2s to be seen at the Glemseck weekend, all are modified, this one with a 1000cc fuel injected engine and carbon fibre bodywork.
Our good friend Michael has been visiting Glemseck for several years and helps us out with some of the better quality photography for the site as well as being extremely good company.
The Triumph beach is not what you would expect to find at a cafe racer weekend, but great for relaxing in the sun and watching the bikes go by on Sunday morning.
The Unique Cycle works stand complete with 'La Signora' the Sprint and Cafe racer competition winner from 2012.
Opposite a strange beast, 8 valve Ducati dragster.
'Old Speed', another beauty on the Unique Cycle works stand,
Plus a more contemporary, at least in this company, Ducati Cafe.
'Kelevra' from South Garage.
A Magni Moto Guzzi in the parking.
And a Magni Honda too.
The frame construction and workmanship is exquisite.
Another Egli, also with Honda engine.
Plus the Speed record 'Egli' Suzuki Hayabusa turbo 'sidecar' that Fritz Egli rode himself.
More Suzuki dragsters.
Ghezzi and Brain Moto Guzzi.
Nice to see a Ducati 900 MHe on the road too.
The rarest of a rare breed, a 50th anniversary Gilera Saturno 500 single.
And a slightly less rare 'red one'.
This Münch attracted visitors to the SGS house of armor stand, which has developed an abrassive resistant underwear for motorcyclists, light enough to be worn under any normal day clothes.
A sweet MV Agusta 350 Corsa on the club stand.
This 6 cylinder Benelli 750 Sei took part in the Classic Sprint on Sunday open to all bikes up to 1983.
Plus a stunning Bimota SB3.
The hand of the race number painter strikes again . .
A Rau Suzuki from Switzerland also in the Sprint.
Up against a Moto Morini 350 Sport.
And this Egli Kawasaki.
Love that oil cooler.
Echos of the past from this Yamaha RD350.
And an RD400 air cooled.
6 pipes sound from an otherwise standard Honda CBX:
Yamaha TR1 Cafes also seem to be a trend for Cafe racer conversions,
with several to be seen from professional shops as well as private visitors.
Suzuki converted to fuel injection by Scheepers Motorsport.
A very sweet KH triple cafe.
Plus a few 'old school' Harley Davidson flat head WD models.
