Motorrad Reisen Klassik Ducati Bimota Superbike Erlebnis Urlaub
Retromotor 2012 in Tübingen, page 1 of 4.
Of course at any good event, it always takes time to actually enter because there are so many great bikes outside to look at first, like these 2 Honda RC30s and a RC45.
A Velocette in really nice condition.
The first of many Laverdas to be seen today. They are so rare to see on the road, but luckily can often be seen at these events.
And a really rare bike, a Magni BMW MB2, which we already know will not be the only Magni to be seen today.
Always have an eye out for Bimotas, and not only this rare Furano to be seen,
but also an even rarer Dieci Biposto parked on the other side of the road.
Doesn't look so special, but these Spanish Sanglas are also very rare. The company was bought by Yamaha so they could produce in Spain and the original products of Sanglas were very quickly phased out.
A Ducati 750 F1 is always a highlight, this one with some tasteful enhancements. And standing next to it,
The first of many MV Agustas to be seen today, a 350 sport model with spectacular 2 into 4 exhausts in the Magni style !
Very cool Ducati Scrambler in period 70s green.
An overview of just one part of the inner field where the compeitors bikes and cars are pitted. During runs the inner field is cut off as the circuit goes completely around.
As I arrived already an early Race bike class in on the circuit, including this nice Ducati 750 F1 with 'Lucky' race number: 618 on the tail.
And a 750 F1 TT.
The first bike to see in the paddock is this 1966 Honda RC181 500 with 'Mike Hailwood' stickers on the side, whether Mike really rode this bike?
Main thing is to use it, as Bernd Hummel did in the Race bike class.
Parked near by was a perfect Münch, which is always great to see,
and wonder at the incredible construction of this bike.
With it's cast electron rear subframe, chain case and rear wheel. Even though all the parts appear larger than lfe, the total bike is quite compact.
And one of the first cars to be seen today, a 1935 Lagonda Rapier, in what you would call 'patinated' condition.
Which is exactly how it should stay.
A Laverda SFC750 belonging to Hartmut Anderer.
Plus a 500 Formula and a second 750SFC near by.
Race ready Honda RC30.
Most of these MV Agusta 750GTs were converted to sports bikes at some time in their lives.
But this is very classy with it's period colouring.
Makes a bold contrast to other classics such as the Ducati 900SS.
