The colourful and crowded 'American' corner of the paddock; & riders made up the American contigent at the weekend, here the Honda CBR1000RR of the W5 Racing team and the BMW S1000RR of 7th Seal Racing.
Romell T. Rogers of 7th Seal Racing and Brian Whelan of W5 were working their way up the Superbike Open class without much previous experience of the Oschersleben track.
Great to see a 'tricolour' CBR1000RR being raced, especially as I developed this colouring while working for Honda a few years ago.
That's Brian on the right picking up his trophy for 10th place in Saturdays race at the evening's pit party and prize giving.
The Pirker Blech Musi' (mostly) brass band provided great entertainment all the evening with traditonal festive hits, modern favourites and the occassional 'off the wall' rendition of Highway to hell (AC DC) or Let me entertain (Robby Williams).
