Following our recomendation, everybody was very happy to camp at Glemseck this year.
Advantages being that the campsite is just a stones throw from the show ground and the atmosphere is second to none, making it all part of the fun.
Here is how the campsite looked on Friday afternoon when we arrived.
As we had riden from Strasbourg that day to first visit the Porsche museum which is just 30 minutes away, Brigitte brought all our camping gear in THE CRANKCASE, van, which made the whole organisation even more luxurious.

The Glemseck 101 hotel which organises a lot of the weekends event also provides a superb breakfast service as well as meals and drinks service not just for the Glemseck weekend but all through the year.

A couple of 'real' rocker cafe racers being these 2 Norton Dominators.
The Ayrton Senna Moto Guzzi tribute bike displayed on the Walz Hardcore stand. Marcus Walz is concentrating much more on Cafe styled bikes recently based on Ducati, Guzzi and Triumph.
The Unique Cycle Work Triumph Arrabbiata, which was undoubtedly one of the most fascinating and beautifully made bikes to be seen the weekend.

Even a 'period' looking Triumph hardtail chopper fits in well to the Glemseck style

Nice Rickman Triumph with the early 'internal' Lockheed front brake disc. I seem to remember having one of these a long time ago . .

Here's someone that we met a couple of years ago here. Dave brought his TT participating (1972 and 1973) 1961 Manx Norton 30M over from the UK to make a couple of demonstration runs on the sprint track.
Dave can expalin every detail of the bike with which he recieved a silver replica at the TT and achieved over 128mph top speed !
The bike is a joy to see, made all the more important that Dave has raced it and cared for it for nearly 50 years.

One of Schlachtwerks' other bikes at the show with which Tomas won the Cafe racer sprint on Saturday, which is not bad considering the competition.

Guy Martin sadly missed the International sprint as his ferry over from the UK was late.
Which means, his Martek Turbo Suzuki can stay in the van until the show runs later on . .

Guy did also manage 2nd place in the Classic Racer sprints on a Suzuki Katana kindly loaned to him by the German Katana club.
The show ground with plenty of space to relax.
The Ape Men from the UK started the evening stage show.
Followed by Johny Trouble, just 2 of 5 bands over the weekend.
Just find a nice spot to sit back and enjoy the evening, such as the Triumph beach.
As the evening goes on into the night.
