motorcycle touring holiday Germany Europe classic Ducati Bimota Superbike experience
Arriving in Schweizer Platz in the Sachsenhausen area of Frankfurt, south of the river Main, to meet up with 18 other ladies and gentlemen to make our tour in and around Frankfurt on a beautifully sunny Sunday.
Some exceptional machines have been brought along to join the event.
Along with their exceptionally well dressed owners and riders.
A beautiful BMW R25 in the original white with black pin stripes colouring.
Some of the meaner matt black Yamaha SR500 and Buell Cafe racers.
First stop to make sure everybody is there and to enjoy a bit of chat, before we head off for the first coffee stop for the day.
Next is a photo stop at the Senckenberg museum.

A model diplodocus serves watch outside the Senckenberg museum which contains a collection of pre-historic exhibits.
We all have our picture taken with the Tyranosaurus Rex which lives opposite the museum too.
Very classy attire for a Sunday morning ride into town.
Next stop, the opera house in the centre of Frankfurt with it's fountain making a great photo theme.
Lots of passers by asked what we were doing, attracted by the glorious machines and our unusual dress for motorcycling.
Brigitte was the first to arrive at the final destination with THE CRANKCASE.s' Honda GB500 Clubman, but had to wait quite a while as we were having far too much fun scooting around town.
Finally time to head off,
all our separate ways,
until next year when we shall all certainly come back to join the Distinguished Gentlemens Ride Frankfurt 2014.
