The 2016 Spa Francorchamps Bikers Classics is scheduled to take place the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July.

An exceptional opportunity to visit this spectacular weekend of classic motorcycling at the famous Spa Francorchamps circuit, located in the picturesque Ardennes countryside close to Liège in Belgium.

The second part of the week long tour; which totals approximately 1,500km (930 miles) takes us to two of the most impressive automotive and technical museums in Europe: the Sinsheim technical museum in Germany and the French National Motor Museum in Mulhouse, which used to be called the 'Schlumpf' or 'Bugatti' museum.

Three outstanding destinations combined with great motorcycling roads through three countries.

This tour is suitable for experienced riders who are ready to ride 300 to 400km (180 to 250 miles) a day.

The prices per rider for the Spa Bikers Classic and museums tour including 7 nights accomodation in comfortable single rooms with own bathrooms, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner with drinks and coffee breaks, everyday), petrol, motorcycle insurance, entrance charges to events and attractions plus your tour guide:

Riding your own bike: 2,500.00 euro (fuel is still included but not motorcycle insurance)

Enjoy a welcome dinner and evening together including our riders meeting to confirm the week's schedule, arrange your luggage, explain safety items with advice on riding in Germany and in a group, plus anything you need to know about your tour. You also get to meet the bikes of course.

A Japanese and French translator are available if neccessary.

Friday 1st

guided all inclusive classic motorcycle racing touring holiday europe spa francorchamps - Friday 1stIn the morning, after we have had breakfast and when everybody is ready we will ride together to Spa in Belgium with a short break along the way at the Nürburgring circuit for lunch.
We will arrive at the Spa Francorchamps circuit in the late afternoon to see the preparations for the weekends racing and watch some of the practice on the circuit.
Later continue to the town of Spa to check into the hotel, then go for dinner in one of the towns fabulous restaurants.

Total riding approximately 275km (175 miles).

Saturday 2nd

guided all inclusive classic motorcycle racing touring holiday europe spa francorchamps - Saturday 2ndAfter breakfast we will ride to the Spa Francorchamps circuit and enjoy a full day watching the various practice and demonstration sessions on the circuit as well as looking around the pits and paddock areas to see everything going on to prepare the bikes.
The pits are only closed to visitors during the race, so this is a fantastic opportunity to see some rare and exotic machines close up.
It's also a great opportunity to talk to some of the riders and even get their autographs as well as talk to the team members if they are not too busy with their work.
We will also visit the ‘village‘ area with its club stands, displays and shop stands.

Before the 4 hour endurance race programme starts at 9 o’clock in the evening we can choose from the variety of hot food from the excellent snack bars inside the circuit including famous Belgian ‘pommes’ (french fries) with mayonaise.

To get a good view of the start of the race with the traditional ‘Le mans‘ style start, where the riders run across the circuit to the waiting bikes, we can go onto the roof of the pits building. After that, we can move around the circuit to some good spectating points, then get back to the pits to see the finish at 1 o'clock in the morning.

You have the option to take a taxi to the circuit on Saturday, because it is only a short distance and it’s more comfortable to walk around without riding gear. Plus we can enjoy some of the world famous Belgian beer.

Sunday 3rd

guided all inclusive classic motorcycle racing touring holiday europe spa francorchamps - Sunday 3rdWe will ride to the circuit after breakfast to see all of Sundays activities including the riding demonstrations on the circuit, plus we will have the chance to meet the riders and team members again
There are no actual races on Sunday, it only looks like they are racing!

In the late afternoon we will ride together back to The Crankcase. for a relaxed dinner in the farmyard, a few beers and a good sleep in the guest house.

Total riding 300km (180 miles).

Wednesday 6th

guided all inclusive classic motorcycle racing touring holiday europe spa francorchamps - Wednesday 6thCheck out of the hotel and ride to Strasbourg for lunch in the city centre of this beautiful city with its many historical buildings and the famous cathedral.

In the afternoon enjoy the ride back to The Crankcase. on the French Alsace, country roads, with a relaxing dinner and evening in The Crankcase. farmyard.

Accomodation in the local guest house.

Total riding 400km (250 miles).
Total weeks riding approximately 1500km (950 miles).
